As part of its drive to motivate local businesses Wiltshire Council is to join forces with British swimming legend, Nick Gillingham MBE, who will be keynote speaker at the Wiltshire 2012 Festival of Celebration business breakfast.
The two-time Olympic medallist, and former European and World Champion in the 200 metre breaststroke, has been brought in by Wiltshire Council due to his reputation as an informative and inspirational speaker.
Local businesses, and up to 300 delegates, will enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast in a large marquee at Hudson’s Field Salisbury at 7.30am on Wednesday, July 11, before receiving a presentation from Nick.
The breakfast will include a networking session and the opportunity to visit the exhibition area of the business village before the main gates of the event are opened to the public.
Conservative Councillor Fleur de Rhe Philipe, Wiltshire Council cabinet member for economic development, said: “Having an Olympic medallist, who happens to be a motivational speaker, talk to us will be the highlight of the breakfast. Those attending will not only come away with new contacts, but also with some Olympic passion on how to create a winning team.”
There are still places available at the breakfast and if local businesses wish to be part of the festival, or discuss potential sponsorship packages, they should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
