A special meeting is being held to give all councillors the opportunity to scrutinise the council’s proposed budget for next year (2012/13).
On Thursday 9 February 2012 a special meeting of the Joint Overview and Scrutiny Select Committees will take place at 10.30am in the Civic Hall, Trowbridge. This will give all councillors the opportunity to debate the detail and the reasoning behind the draft budget proposals and members of the public are welcome to attend.
Cabinet members will also be attending the meeting to respond to questions and explain the budget proposals. The proposed budget will go to a meeting of the Full Council for a final decision on Tuesday 28 February 2012.
If any member of the public would like to make a comment at the scrutiny meeting they should contact Sharon Smith on 01225 718378 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
The agenda and papers for the meeting will be available on the council’s website by Wednesday 1 February 2012.
