Consulting residents on Salisbury Vision

Residents in Salisbury are being asked to complete a survey giving their views on the proposed development of the market square in their city.

Conservative Cllr Richard Clewer, chairman of the Salisbury Area Board is keen for residents to have the opportunity to express their views on how they would like the market place developed.

Richard Clewer, chairman of the Salisbury Area Board said “At the last area board particular public concern was raised over the trees. We’re having a special area board meeting on October 10 to look at all aspects of the market square.

As part of that process and as chairman of the area board I felt it important to use this survey to find out what the people in and around Salisbury feel about potential changes to the market square”.

People can view and complete the survery electronically.

The feedback received will be discussed at the area board meeting on 10 October 2011 .

The up to date proposals of the proposed Market Square development can be seen by visiting the Salisbury Vision website
