Traffic calming speed cushions will be placed along Grovelands Way in Warminster to cope with an expected a rise in traffic due to the Persimmon Homes development in Victoria Road.
The developer has been told to fund the work as one of its commitments in the Victoria Road planning agreement.
Conservative Wiltshire Councillors for Warminster, Pip Ridout, Keith Humphries, Fleur de Rhe Phillipe and Andrew Davis are all pleased that action has been taken to make the developer abide by the conditions imposed at the time of approval. This road has already become a rat-run for cars trying to avoid most of West Street and children are at risk when walking to school or cross over into the park.
