An exciting package of free and discounted activities is being offered at Tisbury and District Sports Centre to attract the community over the winter months.
From 1 December 2011 until 31 March 2012 the centre is offering its Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) for free. The area could be used for tennis, football and netball amongst other activities.
The centre is also planning a package of discounted activities from 1 January 2012 until 31 March 2012 including an opportunity for customers to turn up for casual use of the sports hall and only be charged £1 per court. There will also be coached sports opportunities for all age ranges.
Other incentives include:
- 25 percent discount offer against all off peak time activities (from opening till 6pm Monday – Friday and anytime at weekends).
- School hire free only charging costs for the instructor and transport.
Bridget Wayman, chairman of Tisbury & District Sports Centre Managing Body added:
I love to play tennis outside in the winter. You soon warm up and it’s a great way to feel energised during the winter months. I would encourage anyone to try something new at this great local facility.
